We’re halfway through November which means we’re also halfway through NaNoWriMo! After all the (more or less) vigorous writing, my shoulders and hands could definitely use a break. Here are two quick and easy stretching videos to help you loosen up your muscles.
When I write on the computer, I’m either hunching over the keyboard or slouching in my chair. Neither is good! My shoulders turn into rocks and I get headaches, which means I’m not looking forward to writing at all.
Fortunately some of the tension can be eased in just ten minutes, and this Chill Out Stretching video from FitnessBlender is one of my favorites:
Another place crucial for writers is the wrist. Whether you’re writing with a keyboard or by hand, you’re putting strain on your arms, hands and wrists.
I rarely have trouble with my wrists or hands but this year they’ve been oddly strained. Don’t know if it’s because of my slouching or the keyboard or something else, but I’ve been looking for ways to make them feel better.
I’ve watched PsycheTruth videos before and they didn’t let me down this time either. If you’re having similar issues, this Hand & Arm Stretches video helped at least me:
How’s your NaNo going? Do you have your own stretching and/or exercise routines?
