What is this place? Northern Chapters is my blog for sharing thoughts and ideas on writing, reading, self-publishing, life in general… To sum up: everything I find interesting.
The blog’s name comes from two very simple things: I live in Finland which is in Northern Europe (hence ‘Northern’), and chapters just go well with books.
Who am I, then? I’m Niina, a writer from Finland. I’m a proud owner of a Welsh Corgi Cardigan — though am still waiting for a dragon of my own. Magic and fantasy are close to my heart but I won’t turn away from sci-fi either.
So far I’ve fulfilled my childhood dream of publishing a book (twice) but I still spend my days scribbling. My biggest goal in the writerly world is reaching people who truly enjoy my work and perhaps even make new friends on the way.
What to expect? New posts at random intervals. I’ve been off my blogging game for quite a while now so I’m taking it slow, posting when I feel like it until I can get myself back to a proper schedule.
What can you do? Comments and questions are always greatly appreciated. I’m also looking for guest bloggers so contact me if you want to become one! Lurkers, watchers and followers welcome too.

Congrats on publishing your two books! I’m not sure about how I’m going to publish mine, but I don’t even have to think about that for another year at least (longer because of the editing I’ll need!). Glad to be following you (and thanks for following me!), looking forward to future (and reading past) posts!
