Review: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

Alice is spending a rather boring afternoon with her older sister on a riverbank when she notices something curious: a white rabbit with a waistcoat and a pocket watch. She follows it into a rabbit hole but instead of finding the animal, she falls a long way into a strange hallway. Without a way back up, her only lead is the bottle labelled “drink me” — and drinking it is just the beginning of her adventure.

Friday Snippet #105

We’re slowly heading towards the end of the year, which means it’s time for all kinds of “Best of 2016” lists. One of them is Goodreads Choice Awards. Do you agree with the choices?

I’m such a slow reader that out of all the nominated books across all genres, I’ve only read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

But out of every book I’ve read during 2016, my favorite was Raelia (The Medoran Chronicles #2) by Lynette Noni. Check out my review here and get familiar with the Medoran Chronicles here.

Which book was your favorite this year?

NaNo Break #5: Celebrate, You’ve Earned It!

It’s the last day of November and NaNoWriMo 2016. Whether you’ve reached the purple bar or not, you deserve a huge CONGRATULATIONS for taking this challenge! It’s not easy to write 50,000 words in a month, so now is the perfect time to reward yourself and celebrate.
