I’ve had the privilege of traveling quite a bit this spring. I went to Croatia in April and then to England in May. I’ve been to Heathrow airport and Wales before, but this was my first real visit to England.
A few years ago, I knew next to nothing about Croatia. Then, thanks to Game of Thrones, I learned there was a city called Dubrovnik somewhere in there. In April I went there on a holiday and it turned out to be an amazingly beautiful country.
Last Saturday I spent the day in Jyväskylä, which is the seventh biggest city in Finland. I’d been there at least once before but remembered nothing, so it was a fun experience.
The length of day can be extremely inspiring. When you only get a couple of hours darkness – or sunlight – you can see nature in a whole new way.
