What is this place? Northern Chapters is my blog for sharing thoughts and ideas on writing, reading, self-publishing, life in general… To sum up: everything I find interesting.
The blog’s name comes from two very simple things: I live in Finland which is in Northern Europe (hence ‘Northern’), and chapters just go well with books.
Who am I, then? I’m Niina, a writer from Finland. While I wait to acquire a dragon of my own, I dedicate my time to writing about them or other mystical beings. Magic and fantasy are close to my heart but I won’t turn away from sci-fi either.
So far I’ve fulfilled my childhood dream of publishing a book (twice) but I still spend my days scribbling. My biggest goal in the writerly world is reaching people who truly enjoy my work and perhaps even make new friends on the way.
I’m also a proud owner of a Welsh corgi cardigan called Gimli. You can find pictures of his cute little face on Instagram.
What to expect? New posts come three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Every Friday there will be a Friday Snippet which is a short and sweet post, and can be anything from a quote to a video. If I know I won’t be posting for a longer while, I’ll announce it separately.
What can you do? Comments and questions are always greatly appreciated. I’m also looking for guest bloggers so contact me if you want to become one! Lurkers, watchers and followers welcome too.
You can contact me through the blog posts or send me an email to: draconnairia [at] live [dot] fi
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your stay!
